At the Hilary Highet Shop designs from Massi, Vetono, Oska, and Sahara arrived at the end of August and have been flying out of the shop ever since. I hope we haven’t sold out before you manage to get into Lyme! French label, Roshanara , is the most delightful collection of velvet print jackets and coats. Cazz has some amazingly stylish coats and we sold out of one style of dress in two days ( more on order). Evatralala - is glowing with colour - I know you will be delighted with it .Other treats are scarves from Mint and Shirley Pinder, gorgeous coloured tights from Sneaky Fox and terrific shoes and boots from Yum Yum Shoes, .Tummy tuck Jeans from Not Your Daughter’s Jeans continue to shape the bodies of countless Hilary Highet customers. I have also been working with Amazing Woman to perfect the fit of a new, less expensive version and I have high hopes of having jeans for all sizes of bums and tums - and purses too! A Kind Of Blue is little sister shop to the Hilary Highet. Slightly edgier than its big sister it will appeal to women who want to look individual and contemporary. I hesitate to say its a younger look, as its supposed audience is 30 - 45 , but at 62 I feel great in the Komodo , ethical clothing label, wide legged trousers I took out of stock the other day. (What a dream of a job I have! )What we say is - if it fits you and it’s in my shops then you can trust it to be age neutral! Bohemia is another great find for us. Designed in Sweden, made in China the company runs its own factory on fair trade principles. In a Kind Of Blue you will also find a hand picked selection of wonderful jackets and suits sourced for me by Sublyme Vintage Clothing .
